What Medox is

Medox is billing and inventory software for pharmacies. It is not a substitute for a registered pharmacist, and it does not verify prescriptions, check drug interactions or make clinical judgements. Every dispensing decision remains yours and is governed by the licence you hold.

Compliance

Medox helps you produce GST-compliant documents and statutory registers from the data you enter. The accuracy of a return depends on the accuracy of the entry, and filing remains your responsibility. Tax rates, thresholds and schemes are configuration rather than code precisely because they change — keep them current for your business.

Your account

You are responsible for who you invite and what role you give them. An organisation must always keep at least one active owner or admin; the software enforces this rather than letting you lock yourself out.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed yearly. When a paid plan lapses, the organisation reverts to the free limits — it is never locked and no data is removed. Prices shown at the time you subscribe are the prices you pay for that term.

Availability

We run on Cloudflare's network and aim for continuous availability, but we do not promise it. Take your own backups; the button is there on every plan.

Liability

Medox is provided as is. To the extent the law permits, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost stock value, or penalties arising from returns you filed.

Ending it

You may stop at any time and take your data with you. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully, and will tell you why.
